The subject of LOGIC

 LOGIC WORKSHOP

In sem 4 of my 5 years degree course ....sem 4 was the first time we decided to call a professor on board and have live lectures for students

Let me tell you something about logic
It's the subject  law students fear the most

It's filled with a lot of alphabetical expressions used to
represent logical arguments

Which further might include
Premises, conclusion,  inference
Reasoning ( inductive and deductive)
Fallacies

I genuinely wish that I could someday decode
this topic is deep enough to sharpen my reasoning skills

Our funda at Kalakoat was very simple
We would prepare notes only for the semester,
we were studying.

TO ENSURE THAT OUR CONTENT WAS AUTHENTIC

I myself was not able to understand the subject 🙃
But  urge to help hundreds of students,
who were in the same boat of confusion ;
It got me into the idea of calling a professor on board
Who could teach us !!

STAGE OF IDEA FORMATION

1.) We hardly had 15 days remaining before our exam, when we started hunting for a professor

It was equivalent to shooting arrows in the dark as
we had no contacts or networks
All we had was Google and our potential to research

Also, the college professor couldn't work with us.
Only visiting faculties or retired once.

2.) The subject of logic comprised 4 modules
All we wanted to do was -launch a revision course of 4 days

THE UNPROFESSIONAL  PROFESSOR

Eventually, we found a professor
who readily agreed to take t revision lectures.
Let's call her "ROSE "

Mrs Rose was a senior professor, we had a formal conversation on call
She sounded experienced in the subject and skill of teaching.
She had written books on logic
Which felt like a cherry on the cake.

Mrs Rose was very sure that we wont keep the session free
Which felt sensible as the process was going to
consume time and efforts

As mentioned it was a 4-day session
She suggested to keep the price ₹1000 for the course
It felt out of budget, an amount capable enough
to make holes in the pockets of students

Eventually, we agreed to keep the price ₹450 for 4 days
Each day 2 hrs = 8 hrs of session

We kept demo lectures with students
And the enrollment wasn't massive

DAY 1:- TARGET MODULE 1

The lecture started on Zoom at 7pm in the evening
She was really slow to teach and wasn't able to complete 20% of the given topic, which was scary because students had less time and were really slow and acquisitive.

It didn't take me long to realise that students were unhappy, and it was difficult to continue with Mrs Rose.

I had 5 days remaining for my exam
when I was in the middle of the mess
Had taken money from people and hadn't delivered the quality.

I did spend my night messaging people asking for their views and
chance to get the situation better

Eventually, we wanted to speak to Ms Rose..... to which she wasn't replying to calls ....we left a message to her informing her about the discontinuance

To be honest it was a tough day !!
It was 10th May 2024

THE PROFESSOR WHO SAVED OUR BOAT

Let me introduce you to Prof.Mihir Bhatt
It was the dull night of 10th May

I called him and explained everything
He was very kind, helpful, and patient.
He loves cats and writes books

He coordinated for all 4 days
Students were satisfied
We could give him a decent amount of money

We made 10,00

We earned ₹ 1500
500 - NIDHI
500- RANVEER ( For handling my stress and accounts
500- kahnaji ( For everything)

It was our 1st income🥹🥹
Exams went easy
I got 9.37 cgpa

THE SEM FINALLY HAD A HAPPY ENDING....A VERY HAPPY 😊
